The Phongset of Laos, numbering approximately 1,100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a tiny highland subgroup of the Phunoi people in northern Laos and can also be known as Phongset. They are an Indigenous people, with Phunoi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Buddhism. They primarily speak Phunoi.
