The Kamalia of India

The Kamalia of India, numbering approximately 13,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a small Hindu caste-based community of Gujarat. They were traditionally engaged as worshippers and servants of the mother goddess Bahuchara at Bechraji temple in the Mehsana district of Gujarat They are an Indigenous people, with Kamaliya as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Gujarati.
