The Maheswari of India, numbering approximately 403,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of India: widely distributed in the urban areas of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and can also be known as Maheshwari. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bania people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Marwari (India).
