The Adi Dravida of India

The Adi Dravida of India, numbering approximately 11,090,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Tamil- and Kannada-speaking Dalit community of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Puducherry whose name, meaning "first Dravidians," was adopted in the early twentieth century to assert dignity and self-respect. They work mainly as agricultural laborers They are an Indigenous people, with Adi Dravida as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Tamil.
