Their traditional occupations include leatherwork, weaving and agricultural labor They are an Indigenous people, with Adi Andhra as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
