The Dosali of India

The Dosali of India, numbering approximately 1,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small community of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh traditionally making and selling leaf cups and plates for ceremonial use, whose name may derive from doshwaie, referring to a low-ranked status from a past transgression. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Dogri and their primary religion is Hinduism.
