The Sabar of India, numbering approximately 6,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous tribal people (Adivasi) of eastern India. They are officially recognized as a Scheduled Tribe and are among the historically most marginalized forest‑dwelling communities in the region. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bengali.
