The Kamad of India, numbering approximately 12,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of Rajasthan known for the traditional Terathali dance performed by their women. They are professional singers of devotional songs who live chiefly on alms from patrons and cultivation They are an Indigenous people, with Kamad as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Mewari.
