The Kaimbe of Brazil

The Kaimbe of Brazil, numbering approximately 1,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous people of the Bahia sertão between the Itapicuru and Vaza-Barris basins who regained a collective Kaimbé identity through twentieth-century land struggles after centuries of displacement and marginalization. Begin training up local leaders to lead and develop strategies to reach their own people

Pray specifically for the Kaimbe of Brazil

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
readRomans 5:10

Pray that any who may be enemies of God will grasp the depth of God's love demonstrated through Christ's death for the ungodly, and be reconciled to Him.

And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
read1 John 4:21

Pray that the good news of God's love will reach everyone in this people group, and that His love will compel them to love others as Christ has loved us.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
readMatthew 18:20

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will be encouraged as they remember that Jesus is with them when they gather in His name.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
read1 Corinthians 15:10–11

Pray that God's people will preach the message of Jesus' death and resurrection and that it will spread among the lost through the selfless witness of believers.
