The Muslim Nat of India, numbering approximately 255,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a traditional performer community whose identity is rooted in acrobatics, dance, music, and traveling entertainment. They have played an important role in preserving Indian folk culture, even while facing social and economic marginalization. They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Urdu and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
