The Algerian Arabs of Canada, numbering approximately 72,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Arabic‑speaking Algerians whose cultural identity formed through centuries of Arab settlement, Islamization, and interaction with Indigenous Amazigh (Berber) peoples. They are an Diaspora people in the Arab, Maghreb people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Arabic, Algerian and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
