As many look for hope in worldly pleasures, pray they will hear and accept salvation through Christ, turn from destruction, and experience joy in the way of righteousness.

So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.

Pray that the merciful God who is at work in people's hearts will advance His gospel among them.

For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will exalt the Lord, recognizing His reign over the nations and His sovereignty over all things.

And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.

Pray that God will bring people who appear beyond hope to faith in Jesus and that they will then go and tell others of the marvelous things He has done.
