The Chuukese of United States, numbering approximately 6,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an indigenous Micronesian people of Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia, distinguished by the Chuukese language and culture and traditionally centered on the islands and atolls of Chuuk Lagoon They are an Diaspora people, with Chuukese (Trukese) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Micronesian people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. They mostly adhere to Roman Catholicism and Chuukese is their primary language.
