The Tuscarora of United States, numbering approximately 1,600 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an Iroquoian nation whose ancestors were driven from their North Carolina homeland by the Tuscarora War of 1711-1713 and migrated over decades to New York, where they joined the Iroquois Confederacy as its sixth nation They are an Indigenous people, with Tuscarora as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and English is their primary language.
