The Shoshoni of United States

The Shoshoni of United States, numbering approximately 10,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Native American people who traditionally lived across a large area of the western United States. The Shoshoni were among the tribes encountered by the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804-1806), and Sacagawea, a Shoshoni woman, helped guide the expedition. They are an Indigenous people, in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Shoshoni.
