The Sereer of Senegal, numbering approximately 2,495,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Senegal, west central; Sine and Saloum River valleys. They are an Indigenous people, in the Atlantic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Serer-Sine.
