The Dohor of India

The Dohor of India, numbering approximately 23,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Madhya Pradesh, considered a group of the Chamar, that migrated from Uttar Pradesh roughly a century and a half ago, traditionally engaged in basket-making and brick manufacture alongside agricultural labor. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
