The Jingar of India

The Jingar of India, numbering approximately 81,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a widely distributed community across central and southern India whose name comes from jin, meaning saddle, their traditional craft. Many now work as painters, idol-makers, or blacksmiths instead They are an Indigenous people, with Jingar as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Folk Hinduism and Marwari (India) is their primary language.
