The Baiswar of India

The Baiswar of India, numbering approximately 107,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an agricultural Hindu community of the Baghelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, whose name derives from the Bais Rajput clan. They live by settled farming on their own land and worship deities such as Shankar and Hanuman. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Hindi is their primary language.
