The Pandaram of India

The Pandaram of India, numbering approximately 30,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a priestly community of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala whose name recalls temple treasuries, traditionally servants and priests at Shiva temples. Temple service and priesthood remain common occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Tamil and their primary religion is Hinduism.
