They are a community of India; a subgroup of Bagdi and can also be known as Dhulia, Bentho Oriya Dhulia, Benthuriya, Kotia-Bartika, Putia, Holva Paiko. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bengali.
