The Tigala of India

The Tigala of India, numbering approximately 393,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Karnataka community of Bengaluru, Kolar, and Tumakuru districts who migrated from Tamil Nadu, also called Agnikula or Vannikula Kshatriya. Flower cultivation and farming remain traditional occupations They are an Indigenous people, with Thigala / Tigala as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Vanniyan people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Tamil is their primary language.
