The Baria of India, numbering approximately 928,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Gujarati-speaking Hindu agricultural community of Gujarat and Daman and Diu who claim descent from Koli migrants from Saurashtra. They are also known as Baria Patel, organized into clans, and work in farming and masonry. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Gujarati is their primary language.
