The Kirar of India

The Kirar of India, numbering approximately 1,000,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra described as a lesser Rajput lineage, claiming descent from a medieval conqueror of the Kirarwa fort. Once a martial group, they are now primarily landowning agriculturists. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
