The Khatik of India, numbering approximately 2,150,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a historically occupational community in India, traditionally linked to butchery and animal processing, whose social status has varied regionally but often placed them among marginalized caste groups. They are an Indigenous people, in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Hindi.
