The Munda of India

The Munda of India, numbering approximately 2,855,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austroasiatic-speaking tribal group indigenous to northeastern India and can also be known as Munda Mahalis, Horo-hon, Munda Lohara, Munda Mahalis, Haroko, Munda, Mura, Munda (Mundari), Munda Lohara. They are an Indigenous people, in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Munda.
