The Mazabi of India

The Mazabi of India, numbering approximately 3,670,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste of Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana. The Mazhabi converted to Sikhism after helping recover Guru Tegh Bahadur's body, their name meaning 'faithful'. Agricultural and industrial labor remain their occupations They are an Indigenous people, with Majhabi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Sikhism and Panjabi is their primary language.
