They are an ethnolinguistic community of Mexico and can also be known as Sierra Aztec, Zacapoaxtla Náhuat, Zacapoaxtla Nahuatl, Náhuat de la Sierra de Puebla, Sierra Puebla Náhuatl, Sierra Aztec, Mejicano de Zacapoaxtla. They are an Indigenous people, in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
