The Huichol of Mexico, numbering approximately 86,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as an Amerindian ethnic group indigenous to the Sierra Madre mountains in the Mexican states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango They are an Indigenous people, with Huichol as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
