They are a Mon-Khmer ethnolinguistic community of Laos and China They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Khuen.
