The Uzbeks of Kyrgyzstan, numbering approximately 1,025,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the wider Uzbek people group, a Turkic ethnic group indigenous to the Central Asian region. They are an Indigenous people in the Uzbek people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Uzbek, Northern and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
