The Ranau of Indonesia, numbering approximately 94,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Lampung-related people of the Lake Ranau highlands in South Sumatra whose identity is closely tied to the lake region and aligns culturally with the Lampung Pesisir while maintaining a distinct regional heritage They are an Indigenous people, with Ranau as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Lampung of Sumatra people cluster of the Malay Peoples. They mostly adhere to Sunni Islam and Lampung Api is their primary language.
