The Khmer of Laos, numbering approximately 5,800 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Austroasiatic ethnic group indigenous to Cambodia. They are an Diaspora people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Khmer.
