The Aheu of Laos

The Aheu of Laos, numbering approximately 2,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Thailand, Thavung in Sakon Nakhon province: Song Daw District, 3 villages; Phon Soung live about 100 km south of the Thavung. They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Aheu and their primary religion is Animism.
