The Nanti of Peru

The Nanti of Peru, numbering approximately 550 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a subtribe of the Machiguenga, an Arawakan Amerindian group living in the Upper Amazon basin of southeastern Peru. They are an Indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Nanti and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
