The Cajamarca Quechua of Peru, numbering approximately 30,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an Andean highland people of Peru's Cajamarca valley, once ruled by the pre-Inca Cuismanco polity before Inca incorporation and later the site of Emperor Atahualpa's capture by Pizarro in 1532 They are an Indigenous people, with Quechua / Quichua as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Quechua people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Cajamarca Quechua.
