They are an ethnic group living in southern Sudan, northwestern Uganda, and northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are an Indigenous people, in the Sudanic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Aringa.
