The Asua of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, numbering approximately 52,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Mbuti Pygmy people living in the Ituri Forest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and can also be known as Asoa, Asua. They are an Indigenous people, in the Pygmy people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Asoa.
