The Koma of Nigeria

The Koma of Nigeria, numbering approximately 70,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a hill people of the Atlantika Mountains straddling Nigeria and Cameroon who took refuge there for centuries to escape forced Islamization, gaining Nigerian recognition in 1961 yet so isolated their existence wasn't officially discovered until 1986. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Koma is their primary language.

Pray specifically for the Koma of Nigeria

readLuke 18:25-27

Pray that the lost who think they have everything they need will recognize their spiritual poverty apart from Jesus and turn to Him in faith.

Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
readPsalm 150:2

Pray for the gospel to advance among those who are living in darkness. Pray that they will come to know Jesus and praise Him for all that He has done.

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of host.
readJeremiah 15:16

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will find joy and delight in the Word of the Lord.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
read1 Corinthians 15:10–11

Pray that God's people will preach the message of Jesus' death and resurrection and that it will spread among the lost through the selfless witness of believers.
