They are an ethnolinguistic community of Ghana, northeast, Wawjayga area and can also be known as Kyokosi, Anufo. They are an Indigenous people, in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Anufo.
