The Kera of Cameroon

The Kera of Cameroon, numbering approximately 15,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an East Chadic people of northern Cameroon's Mayo-Danay and Diamare departments whose ancestors migrated from the Chari River through Mouzouk country under pressure from the Kanem and Baguirmi kingdoms, marking harvests with ritual war dances. They mostly adhere to Animism and Kera is their primary language.

Pray specifically for the Kera of Cameroon

The LORD has heard my plea; the LORD accepts my prayer.
readPsalm 6:9

Pray that lost people will hear the gospel and place their faith in Christ, knowing that He hears their plea and accepts their prayer.

Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and of the Holy One of Israel, for he has glorified you.
readIsaiah 55:5

Pray that those who do not know God will access the gospel, run to Him, and discover that He is the one their souls have been longing for.

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
readIsaiah 25:8

Pray that as people place their faith in Christ, they will rejoice in the hope of the Lord's coming, when He will swallow up death forever and wipe away their tears.

And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.
readMark 5:20

Pray that God will bring people who appear beyond hope to faith in Jesus and that they will then go and tell others of the marvelous things He has done.
