They are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Adamawa State of northeast Nigeria but also found in neighboring parts of north Cameroon. They are an Diaspora people, in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Samba Daka.
