The Sungor of Sudan, numbering approximately 25,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Tama-speaking ethnic group indigenous to the Ouaddai region of eastern Chad and can also be known as Shangor. They are an Diaspora people, in the Ouaddai-Fur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Assangori.
