The Dongotono of South Sudan, numbering approximately 9,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Nilotic people of the Dongotono Mountains in Eastern Equatoria, part of the broader Lango cluster alongside the Lokwa, Ketebo, Logir, and Imatong, whose oral culture of songs, dance, and folklore draws heavily from the neighboring Lotuka They are an Indigenous people, with Dongotono as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism. They primarily speak Dongotono.
