The Burji of Ethiopia, numbering approximately 115,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Amharic ethnic group indigenous to Ethiopia, south of Lake Chamo . They are an Indigenous people, in the Sidama people cluster of the Horn of Africa affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Eastern Orthodox. They primarily speak Burji.
