The Baxa of Chad, numbering approximately 3,700 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Chad; a dialect subgroup of Karanga (kth) and can also be known as Bakha. They are an Indigenous people, in the Ouaddai-Fur people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Karanga.
