The Lengo of Solomon Islands

The Lengo of Solomon Islands, numbering approximately 26,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an Oceanic-language people of northern and eastern Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands, also known as Doku, Ruavatu, or Tadhimboko, whose district gained its own council seat when the Guadalcanal Council formed in 1953 They are an Indigenous people, with Lengo as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Solomons people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Lengo.
