The Manipuri of Myanmar

The Manipuri of Myanmar, numbering approximately 28,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a tribal ethnic group indigenous to the state of Manipur in northeast India and the Sylhet District of northeastern Bangladesh. They are an Diaspora people in the Manipuri people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Meitei and their primary religion is Hinduism.
