The Chewong of Malaysia, numbering approximately 750 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Senoi Orang Asli people, properly called Siwang, whose ancestors reached the Malay Peninsula in a second migration wave some 6,000 to 8,000 years ago, still living by hill-paddy farming, hunting, and forest foraging in Pahang's mountains They are an Indigenous people, with Chewong (Siwang) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the West Malaysia Indigenous people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism. They primarily speak Chewong.
