The Kagayanen of Philippines, numbering approximately 39,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Manobo-descended people of Cagayancillo in the Sulu Sea, Philippines, later influenced by Moro settlers from the Sulu Sultanate, historically skilled shipbuilders who sought protection from pirates behind the islands' reefs. They mostly adhere to Roman Catholicism and Kagayanen is their primary language.
